Mr. Shaw spoke to the assembly of students about Failures. He asked the students to always acknowledge their failures, grow from them, understand why the failure occurred so they may improve and ultimately grow from it. He urged them to get a mentor/coach so they will have a more experienced person to guide them to be better. He asked the students to always be resilient, remain determined to succeed and have the grit as “Future Men of Might” to overcome all obstacles along the way. His message was well received by the students at Cornwall College morning assembly.
