Scholarship Payout Request

Scholarship recipients are now required to make payout requests via our Scholarship Payout Request web page. Do not make requests directly to the Guidance Counseling or Bursar. Please allow 2 weeks processing time for all payout requests.

Scholarship Payout Process

  1. Student discuss payout need with Mentor.
  2. Student requests qualified education payout via scholarship payout request button below.
  3. Scholarship provider or representative APPROVE or DECLINE the request.
    1. If approved, then it is sent to the Guidance Counseling department and Principal for second level approval.
    2. If declined, then scholarship provider will send an email explaining the reasons for declining the request.
  4. Guidance Counseling department and Principal APPROVE or DECLINE the request electronically via email.
    1. If approved by the Guidance Counselor AND Principal then the Guidance Counseling department forwards the approval email to the Bursar for payout.
    2. If declined by the guidance counseling department OR Principal, then an email will be sent to the requestor indicating the reason for the decline. The requestor may resubmit after resolving the issue with the previous submission.
  5. The Bursar prepares the cheque in care of the Payee (Parent or approved Vendor).
  6. The Bursar sends the cheque to the Principal and Chairman of the board for their signatures.
  7. The student picks up the cheque from the Bursar.
  8. Student verifies receipt of check with their mentor.

  • School Supplies required for classes

** By submitting the Scholarship Payout Request Form, you are verifying that the requested funds will be used for qualified academic expenses required to complete the scholarship recipient’s education at Cornwall College.
