Students at Cornwall College were polled to nominate an outstanding teacher and vote on their nominees performance in the classroom. We received 138 nominations and over 50 teachers were nominated.
The top five teachers based on the nominations were:

Malik Ewan
Malik Ewan and Kaydene Thomas came out on top based on number of nominations and cumulative scores in the areas of Knowledge, Creativity & Patience in the classroom.
Michael “Wadi” Gordon presented Malik Ewan and Kaydene Thomas the “Class of 88 – Dothnie Maud Gordon Outstanding Teacher awards at Cornwall College Devotion on Monday, December 5, 2022. The top teachers each received a check for $75,000 JMD.
Thanks to Michael Gordon and family for this annual award in honor of the family matriarch Ms. Dothnie Maud Gordon, which aims to motivate teachers to continue nurturing the minds of students and encourage excellence (from the teachers) in the classroom at Cornwall College.
