Application


Goal

To establish an impactful scholarship program to help current students at Cornwall College complete their education at the institution while achieving the highest levels of scholastic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Student must be currently enrolled at Cornwall College and have completed 7, 8, 9 grades at the institution.
  • Demonstrate a financial need.
  • Exhibit high ethical standards (involvement in school organizations to nurture leadership & social skills).
  • Satisfy all application requirements listed below in the “How to Apply” section.
How To Apply
  1. Complete the scholarship application HERE.
  2. Submit copies of the last two (2) high school official term reports or grade transcripts. Upload the report  HERE or email to cc1988inc@gmail.com.
  3. Submit two (2) recommendation letters. The first recommendation letter must be from the Cornwall College administration (principal, teacher, guidance counselor or other school official) and the second recommendation letter from a community leader (Mayor, Pastor, Justice of the Peace, Senator, etc). The student or person giving the recommendation must upload the document HERE or email to cc1988inc@gmail.com
  4. Email a front facing photograph with head centered and shoulders visible. Upload HERE or email to cc1988inc@gmail.com
Selection Process

All applications are evaluated in the categories listed below and a weighted scoring system is used to ultimately determine the students to extend an award. This evaluation is done after the close of the application period by the CC88 scholarship team.

Important Notices
 
  • July 1: Start accepting applications
  • August 7: Deadline for applications
  • August 15: Complete the selection and notify award recipients
  • September: Award ceremony (1st week of school)

*Incomplete applications may not be reviewed and it is the responsibility of the student applicant to ensure all required documents have been received by CC88, Inc.
