Funding
The 1988 graduates of Cornwall College have established a scholarship aimed at supporting current students at our Alma mater based upon leadership potential, merit, academic achievement and demonstration of need. These scholarships directly impact the awardees and their family as they cover tuition fees, exam fees, internet connectivity, food, transportation to and from school, uniform, etc to the extent of the award. Every student is eligible per the application criteria on the APPLICATION page. The guidance counseling department is notified of all recipients and past Cornwall College graduates are assigned as mentors to guide the students throughout the award year.
FUNDING
All scholarship funds are by way of the generous and unwavering contributions from:
- CC88, Inc group members
- Donations from non-members & friends of the institution
- Corporations
We have 3 scholarship tiers which awards disbursement amounts of $500, $750 & $1000 USD to qualified students.
Interested in starting a Scholarship Fund?
Funding a scholarship helps to deliver the best education and experience possible for our incredibly talented students. It costs $1000 USD to fund a student’s education for an entire year. A very meaningful way to personally give back annually is with a donor branded scholarship in your name to support your cause. Scholarships can also be customized to honor people who have had a major impact on your life, e.g. The John Brown scholarship for excellence in the Arts. If you’re considering creating a new scholarship, please email us at cc1988inc@gmail.com for the guidelines on how to establish a CC88, Inc scholarship at Cornwall College.
You may also choose to simply donate HERE and we will handle the rest. Note that all donors will receive a scholarship program report annually upon request.
ADMINISTRATION
CC88 Scholarship and Finance committees are responsible for administration of the fund. These committees have regular meetings to plan and execute the CC88 scholarship program.
IMPORTANT NOTE
CC88, Inc is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with the US tax code section 170. None of CC88, Inc earnings benefit any CC88, Inc officer or member. Donation receipts are issued annually for any donation of $250 USD or more.
