Our corporation was established in 2016 as a non-profit corporation with the name “Cornwall College Graduate Class of 1988” dba “CC88 Inc.”. The primary objective is to promote close association & foster goodwill among past students of Cornwall College (Montego Bay Jamaica W.I.), to consider the interests and welfare of the College and to contribute in any way possible to its repute and usefulness. We have created bylaws to formalize how we will operate as an organization. Ordinary membership in the corporation is limited to past students of the College who graduated in the year of 1988. Past students desirous of becoming a financial member must apply to the Secretary and pay the annual membership fee. We have identified some projects that we hope will benefit our alma mater and assigned elected officers to drive them to completion. The projects for 2017 are Scholarship, Mentor-ship Program, Donation Drive, Tutoring Program, CCOBA Constitution Reform, Group Website, Group Membership drive and purchase of Player Field Benches to support school sporting events and as a result the Finance, Fundraising & Events and Scholarship committees were formed. Our Board and Committees meet monthly for project status updates and to discuss new and existing business matters. We utilize Whatsapp, Email and other Teleconference medium for communication among the officers and group membership. Our belief is that Cornwall College high school provided us with "the tools required to be Men of Might", so we are compelled to give back in a meaningful way.
